Established in 1858, Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart in Lake Forest is an independent Catholic college preparatory school for young women offering day and boarding programs. A member of the worldwide Network of Sacred Heart Schools, Woodlands promotes academic and artistic excellence, global awareness, social responsibility, and strong faith. Woodlands’ curriculum includes Advanced Placement and honors courses, an exceptional fine arts program, year-round service opportunities, competitive athletics and club crew, and English as a Second Language. The average class size is 14 and the student/faculty ratio is 8:1. Woodlands has 100 percent college placement annually.
