The North Shore School is an independent, nonprofit elementary school
dedicated to the growth and development of each child in the areas
of mental, physical, social, emotional, and moral development. Since
its founding in 1938, the School has held the belief that the foundation
to an excellent education is basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics,
natural sciences, and social development.
The North Shore School has an exceptional faculty. The class sizes
are small, providing personal instruction in an atmosphere of motivation
and stimulation. School uniforms are worn by all students from first
through eight grade. Basic educational programs are supplemented
by additional qualified teachers in French, science lab, computer
science, music, and physical education. All classrooms are equipped
with computers and high speed internet access. A Junior Great Books
